The World Bank has witheld important findings from a report on China detailing how China's smog and polluted water are causing the premature deaths of 800,000 people a year!

The Chinese demanded the research be omitted from the World Bank's Report on China because they fear social unrest if this information gets out...

Well here it is, it's out, what is China going to do about it?

Guess business profits are more important to China than the lives of its own citizens.

    Mind your words.
First ,Nothing is more important than the lives in China.I don't know whether the report was enlarged or not, because I was living in China, and i don't feel it's that dangerous.
Environment pollution is not an issue only in China. The pollution is all over the world.Do you have a car?Is it solar powered? Is your hourse builded with wood? The research is not very fair, maybe something with politic is in there.I have heard China occupied a big percentage in the CO2 emissions.Yeah, that's true, but don't forget there are over 1.3 billion ppl in China. And what's the number in America,England?

You can't blame your neighbor has no garden while you are very rich.

Environment is not a paper on your desk ,you write "Okay" on it, and there's an "Okay".That's ignorant.Stop pollution and prevent it needs time and money. What i have seen these years is the gonvernment has put more power in protecting environment .
