Im 18 and my parents are going to get a divorce, and this is consuming me and i cannot get it off my mind, any suggestions? Thank You
I wish there was a magic pill I could send you but theres not. You love your folks and they love you. You are not the reason they are splitting up. You have to remember that. Sometimes people staying together is much worse than being apart. Wish there was some great words I could give you, my folks divorced when I was 5, fucked me up for several years. I put my kids through it too. Would have liked it different but to stay in the situation we were in would have been worse on all of us. Keep your chin up and good luck...Dennis
my parents divorced when i was about 8, i think. I was upset that my dad wouldn't be living with us anymore but me and my brother still got to see him whenever we wanted and both my parents seemed happier. good luck
