i've decided that i really want to learn to play the banjo, but i'm a little intimidated.

can anyone recommend any good beginner banjo books or websites, or offer other advice?

Really the first thing you need to do is just buy a beginners banjo guide thingy.

But the main thing you have to get down before you can do ANYTHING on the banjo is the "picking patterns" theres quite a few but almost every banjo song uses a common "picking pattern" they are extremely important.

But idk if you should take advice from me, been playing for over a year and still suck major bawls.
