yellow from the bottom up

my plants leaves have been turning yellow and eventualy drying off and dieing
from the bottem up i thought it wuzz over watering at first so i let it dry out for a day wuzznt that any one got any suggestions ? also i know iv i some type of lil tiny black bugs iv been sprying with garden safe insect spray dunu if they could have any thing to do with it http://fuckingforfree.net/Banners/P1010267.JPG

Pretty sure that's nute burn, odds are caused by your pH being off.

Make sure to keep spraying after the bugs go away, they may have larva in the soil.
