Coming home

    And she saids "Look to the west. Your home."
    As I turn a flash of light bends around a boulder
    piercing my eyes, blinding me, passing over me.
    Her arms draped around me in a loving embrace.
    In the distance, smoke flows down the path
    this plain of green, gold and purple fills my eyes.
    Kneeling down looking at a small growing plant
    I say to her "I am home."
