I was just wondering if it turns out that someone is having a bad trip is there any way to bring them down quickly. I have taken acid a few times when I was a lot younger and enjoyed up until i started having a bad trip and each time it was the same concept and I feel I am in a better mindset now to take it again and not have the bad trip but all in all I am still a little worried about taking it and regretting it when I am in a bad trip that I can't get out of, once again.

I've heard that a moderate to high dose of niacin will stop most of the effects of lsd. I'm not 100% certain, but it's worth looking into. It might be good to have some on hand if it helps you relax. I know thorazine will abort an lsd trip, but that's usually reserved for emergency hospital-type situations.
Overall, I'd say only trip as strongly as you are comfortable with, so you won't have to resort to aborting the experience. Plus working through the rough spots of a trip seems much better than ending the experience.

Alchohol has the potential to work fairly well with LSD-induced anxiety, but Benzo's have been touted as much more effective and I can see why though I have never mixed them with and Psychedelics. Alchohol is a good Plan B if the Xanax or Valium or whatever proves too elusive.

    Xanax.
Alcohol could have a mild grounding effect or it could do nothing at all.

i wouldn't use antipsychotics due to there various adverse side effects...definitely choose benzos mainly to lower the anxiety...
