insomnia

    it's almost 3 am and i can't sleep. this has been going on for a while. i feel sleepy all day but then when i go to get my bed clothes on my body like wakes up and i'm up until like 6 am, and i finally fall asleep for a few hours but am up by atleast 9. what can i do to get to sleep?

    i have depression so idk how it would efffect me but i can't sleep. what can i do?

    Haha, I wish I could help but I'm having the same problem. Normally this doesn't happen to me, but I feel so awake and almost too alive to sleep tonight. My best guess would be that if you can cure yourself/get cured of your depression, your insomnia will probably go away too. It's just a hormone balance type of thing... I used to feel that way too.

    Yep, I'm in exactly the same boat as you are.
    Just try the old things...don't drink caffeine before bed, don't exercise right before bed, relax before bed, etc.

    Same here, its 3:30 no sleep.

    I also have Deppression off and on, but manily on...

    Yeah I recently have been having sleeping problems. I just roll around on my bed( I even got a new mattress!) and im still having trouble. maybe alot of thoughts are going through your mind, causing it to make you have difficulty going to sleep? I think that may be my problem. It's just so hard because I REALLY need sleep! Isn't there like medication for that though?

    There is medication for that, try tylenol pm's. they work great for sleeping. I was having the same problem and now I sleep like 8 hours a night and feel great the next day.

    I have the same problem..... and I'm sick of it but it's been going on for a few months now, and to fix it the way I do is like right now it's 8:03 am and I haven't gone to sleep yet, so I'll stay awake all day until tonigh like at 8 i'll go to sleep and that way I will wake up in the morning the next day that's practicly mt life I like never sleep it's terrible

    my insomnia comes and goes by weeks at a time, and i usually just smoke a cone before bed and im cool to sleep. also, working out during the day helps.

    I had the same problem! be up 24 hours, don sleep. Then try and sleep at 1 am.

    Yep depression can cause disturbed sleep or insomnia, if you are on anti-depressants, they are sedating so that will help, or sleeping tablets may have an effect! But try alternatives, a bath, hot drink before bed - avoid tea, coffee etc, exercise, walk, read all those things!

    i sort of have a similar problem, this happens sometimes whenever i get into this pattern, ill be up till like 5 in the morning, then ill sleep till like 3, its such a hard pattern to break to because i love sleep. but right now, its allmost 1 am, i just got out of work and im pretty wide awake, even tho all day at work i was yawning. probably jsut need to try to get to sleep earlier, and wake up earlier. but maybe try just getting in bed and reading, that allways seems to help me get to sleep.

    its difficult to take tylenol pm's at 3 AM when you need to be up at 8 or 9

    yeah thats the worst, It's 6am here and I have to be up and ready to go out by noon, trying to impress some hot ass girl. I'm to tired for this shit.
