I've had a huge box of strawberries I've been munching on. Last night they came back up with some dove ice cream bars just *cough*oddly enough *cough* it almost felt good.

I like cherries too.

Well, damn, looks like I'm the only one without a cherry tree then. Now I feel sad.

who me? no, I really can't grow grass, my yard is like a desert......... It sucks ass. I wanted to have a garden but nothing will grow in this shit.

 

birds got all my cherries this year, forgot to cover trees with cheesecloth

 

i know all about growing a lawn (organic natural) if you're interested

to begin with fixing a lawn, you might want to begin with a dethatcher... its a gas powered tool rented that pulls out plugs of ground to loosen the soil as ground that has been sitting idle and getting walked on, get's packed hard which won't allow the grass to grow

if the ground is very hard as are clay soils, you might want to try a roto-tiller

next seed with quality grass seed (sun or shade mix depending on conditions)

spinkle a product called penn mulch on top of new seed, penn mulch keeps the seed moist and start-up fertilizer

keep ground moist everyday until grass established and keep off all pedestrian or other traffic by roping off area

after first cutting when grass is 2" high, add a product call milorganite which is a fertilizer from sewage treatment

organic lawns are less prone to disease and pests
