Be patient with new music, if the artist has managed to capture their emotions you will have never experienced it before even though you maybe able to relate very well. First time experiences are very hard to understand as we have nothing to compare them too. It is very hard to remember the first time we experienced our different emotions as we experienced most of our own at a young age and know what to expect. This can often be shown by the first time we experienced a drug where effects can go unnoticed for multipule uses (cannabis) or in hiensight (alchohol). After more experience with these drugs we learn to expect whats happening and can appreciate the more subtle differences. People fear change, the unknown, some recoil and some explore, but when exploring it is important to know that we dont yet understand.
