Cleo, the terror, has torn the carpet up in front of the bedroom door, jumps all over us, meows loudly and messes with the blinds all night. I have a squirt bottle I use on her, but every time she wakes me up it takes me awhile to fall back asleep, and the whole thing starts again.
1 dog (milo) he sleeps really well 3 cats, one of them Violet keeps me up bringing in mice, moths, worms, rats and scratching the carpet, our old boy Wibber (hes 19) sleeps pretty well sometimes he gets a bit meowey at night time but then settles. We have rabbits and a hamster as well but they are in a different room
Our dog has a couple of times, barking if he hears another dog or whatever, otherwise he's pretty good.
We had a guinea pig that would "sing" at night - sounded like a very noisy songbird was loose in the house. He'd wake us all up... we tried to tell ourselves that only lucky piggie owners get to hear this since only very contented piggies ever sing. I miss that singing now. love, mom
Try to keep your kitty awake for a few hour before you go to bed. Also play alot before bed. Mine used to keep my up but once I started doing that she sleeps most of the night now. If she does wake me up it is only just before my alarm goes off.
I just adopted a new dog in March, who is almost seven months old. She must sleep when everybody is out of the house during the day, because she barks all through the night. I feel bad for my other dog, who is now eleven, because her bed is right by the other's.
My pooch is paranoid. Any little noise and she goes OFF. Last night people were letting off fireworks. She went off and I woke up. I usually learned to sleep through her obsessing paranoia ie insane barking at nothing throughout the night. She doesnt bark during the day, though, at anything.
my ferrets are up at all hours but usually they keep things pretty quiet I think they can sense that others are trying to sleep.
my cat likes to box with me she takes her paws and moves them from side to side hiting for about an hr or so my other cat like to roll on the floor while i pet her belly and run around the apt playing hide and seek with her .. thats right before we go to bed. I also will let the girls know that mommy and daddy are going to bed its sleep time and lights are going out They will jump on the bed and lay with us for a while. other than that i have no clue what goes on i sleep so sound
My cats will sometimes play a little while I'm in bed, including pestering me, so yes they sometimes do. Otherwise, one or both will curl up with me when I go to bed.
My dog roams the hallways and gets up to get drinks all of the time, but she doesn't bother me. I'm up all night, anyway. She doesn't keep my parents up, though, unless she really needs to go outside, but that doesn't happen often because I'm awake and I'll let her out. She's well-behaved.
have to very energetic dogs that dont enjoy sleeping alone... they need to be with me or somone else in the house.. and usualy in Our beds!. .. all day they play them selves out.. but then at night any noise that goes off.. or people walking by... one of them willl bark.. wich well... makes the other.. then we just have a nice alarm clock at random times..... its frustrating at times.. but im learning to cope haha
i have a bran new 4 week old kitten, Gus, and he keeps me up all night long trying to bite me. Sometimes i randomly wake up at like 4am from him attacking my face or biting my nose! hes soo cute! but so annoying when im trying to sleep!
My kitty will run up and down my stairs & it sounds like thunder! Luckily I'm a heavy sleeper (when I can sleep) but if he does wake me up it will be at 5:30 or 6 am..he love to share my pillow then lick my face til I give him a morning scratch*: )
Our two cats sleep in the laundry room at night because they insist on terrorizing everyone in the house, including each other. Our puppy, Lyric has gotten pretty good at sleeping thru the night. However, we are dog-sitting her brother, and the poor kid does not have a CLUE...he is the whiniest thing i have ever met, and Lyric is refusing to cuddle with him and make him feel better.
