Earth Dance SEPTEMBER 18TH!!!!

umm.. the tour was cancelled. i was supposed to see it two nights ago, but only have refunded tickets

BT dropped out and apparantly the tour couldnt hold together without him.

 

BT? I don't know if we are talking about the same thing. There are over 120 Earthdays going on, in over 120 cities, over 50 countries, on sept. 18th... so i dont think BT would be going to the one im going to.. (who is BT?)
There are 4 in distance to me, Orlando ,Sarasota/Tampa, Miami, and Clearwater
Checking out all the websites, I don't see one notice of cancellation, nor anything about BT..

If you can help me out, it would be appreciated. As for now though.. I'm still planning on going...

ok, ok, okj.. i know now... you are talking about the United Beats of Peace thing that earthdance sponsored the tour of. Cool, so yeah, not the same thing, but close!

 

umm well to be honest, you get a lot more informtation from the website, and only to be fair,m you sahould check out the cities own websites if they have a link to it, cuz I don't wanna give false information, but basically its "mothership" place in N. California but have many parties worldwide to promote peace!

The Mission

Our mission is to promote peace by joining participants worldwide in a synchronized PRAYER FOR PEACE and to support humanitarian causes through the global language of music and dance.


The Goal

Our goal is to inspire participation from promoters, clubs, artists, and musicians worldwide to dedicate one day to support humanitarian efforts and help unite people from all nations in a day of peaceful celebration and harmony. This year we are expanding the circle to include anyone interested in world peace, even if you can’t make it to an official event.


The Objective

Our objective is to create as many Earthdance events around the world as possible. From stadium concerts to living room gatherings, there are no conditions on how big or small an event has to be. The spirit of Earthdance is participation on whatever level possible.



In the spirit of "Think Global, Act Local,"” each local promoter must donate at least 50% of their profits to a local charity related to one of the following categories:

• The Welfare of Children,
• Urban Youth or Indigenous Peoples;
• International Relief and Development;
• Environmental Protection; and
• Organizations that help Promote Peace.
