how to roll a blunt?

Hey guys, this is probably my most stupidest question of all time, but I just want to know, how do you roll a blunt? Cause usually when I smoke weed, I usually have a friend roll it for me because I don't know how. I think I got an idea how to, like my friend, he buys a pack of swisher sweets, he cuts it in half and he like takes all the tobacco out of it, then he puts the weed in it, and then he takes a lighter and he like moves the lighter all around the joint. Is this how you do it? Or am I missing a step?

could be just that blunt wrap juicy jays which are amazing. no cutting involved.

Wouldnt it have been easier to just ask your friend to teach you?

Yeah, I actually did ask him, but I asked him after I made this post. When I made this post, my friend wasn't really with me at the time, and I was just curious, so I just decided to ask here, since this is a marijuana forum and everything.
