is it fimo stuff or something you make dread beads out of? and how do u do it put them in the oven or something? i was gonna try and make some out of wood or avacadoe seeds but want to make some out of clay or something similar so just wanted to ask how u make them..? ta
fimo is good. polymer clays have directions right on the package for how to bake them. also there are alot of good websites around. i'd give you links, but my computer is currently out of commission and that is where all my links are. good luck
ill try getting wood anyway cos i love the natural look to dreads...ike tribal celtic etc. wood is god for me
Sculpey clay. That stuff is great for makin' whatever. Love it. 15 minutes in the oven and you've got yourself a bead. =) Though I don't make them, glass beads are beautiful in dreads! & I like that natural look with the wooden ones too, 'specially the handcarved designs and such.
beads! I love peyote stitches...here's one I made. and here's one I made out of green beads and a leaf charm. I usually just make the bead and sew it into my hair with wire or plastic thread...never cotton thread or something that likes to mold.
