I agree with Nick. I don't think that they can say anything about weed when they are smoking something that is SO much worse for your body. Its only marijuana anyways.
Yes, they can preach about how bad mary jane is. It is THEIR house, and if they dont want you doing illegal activities while at home, they wont let you. Cigarettes are legal, and your parents are of-age to smoke them. Much of the preaching stems from marijuana being illegal. They can say and do whatever they want. Because its their house.
Yeah man. I know thats shitty to hear, and it probably sucks, but whoever pays the bills makes the rules.... even if they choose to poison themselves with hundreds of carcinogenic chemicals multiple times a day.
And he is only 15. If he were 18 then he might be able to put up a good fight and prove the parents wrong and shit like that.

Exactly what i was coming in to post.. they could even smoke pot themselves, and be the biggest hypocrits ever, but if they dont want you smoking, thats how it goes

But if you live home man, just tolerate it. All you gotta do is hack it until you leave, then, you're the king of the castle, and its great. Except payin bills sucks haha.
They CAN tell you to not smoke pot and not posses pot because it's illegal. They CANNOT tell you to not smoke because smoking is bad for you. Until you move out you need to abide by the rules set forth by the home owner.
If the parent is smoking pot then they have no right to say shit. A good parent would not be such a blatent hypocrit. Do you think that is a godo way to gain the trust of their kids? Unless they can manage a good reason why the two parties are different, they can't do that.
I dont think they should say shit. I know several familes and at one time they told or bitched at there kids about smoken pot. Now i understand this for it is good to tell your kids not to smoke. Although when you go outside, or to your secret spot and have a cig in the your corner. You dont have room to talk. Im sorry but dont try to set examples then walk away to have your cancer stick.
