I need help! It seems like everytime I go drinking I puke the next morning... it is obviously very annoying. The obvious question your probably asking is, How much you drinking? And the answer is not that much, don't get me wrong, I'll be stumbling a bit, but I always used to be able to drink this much and be fine the day after. My friends think it's in my mind, but I'm not sure. What are your thoughts.
then suffer the hangover.. i dunno, theres no mystery in that, u just puke cuz your body doesnt digest the alcohol well, its only a regular symptom of hangovers *shrug*
drink alot of water before going to sleep, like as much as the liquor u drank if it still happens, then most likely it's somthing medical
How often do you drink? If you only drink once in a while and puke the next morning, then it's not a big deal... might actually be a semi-good thing since your system is being cleared out. But yeah... drink a whole lotta water before going to bed... as already stated. I would usually drink a couple of glasses after a night of heavy drinking... that usually guarantees practically no hangover (but maybe a bathroom trip sometime in the middle of the night... but stumbling to the bathroom in the middle of the night while still half drunk and truly asleep can be an interesting adventure). If you drink regulary, and this is happening... then stop drinking, or at least cut down radically.
If he was a regular drinker, there would be less likelihood of him getting sick. Some people just cannot tolerate alcohol, and therefore it's pointless for them to drink... unless they enjoy throwing up.
I got a sure fire cure for a hangover. And I am not pulling your leg. Take midol. It will stop headaches & puking. It really works. Go to a store right now & even though you are male, grow a pair & walk in the stupid tampon pad aisle (I'm female & i hate that aisle) & get a bottle of midol. You'll be thanking me. Quite a while ago my mom told me that a guy friend of hers took midol for his hangover. I never had a hangover til last year at an open bar high school reunion then later in the year, when someone put all my drinks on his tab. (this someone was my uncle that just happened to be there) The 2nd hangover was worse cuz I was projectile vomiting. I got a couple midol from my mom & all the puking & shaking etc was all gone. You won't regret this. This should be a bulletin in bars everywhere.
Thanks for your suggestions. I'm not to sure about the Midol... I appreciate the suggestion, but I don't want to take drugs... The plenty of water sounds like a good idea... Now to answer some of your questions. No I usually am not still drunk when I wake up, maybe a little dizzy... I would say I drink once every two weeks... and it almost always ends up in puking... Greasy meal, eh... that sounds good too. Thanks!
water the night before can be good, but if you wake up and chug a bunch that can cause puking too, as good as it feels at the time...
Throwing up during the drinking means your body can't process any more. That's a good, natural "whole body" defense mechanism. Throwing up the next day sounds like you've overloaded you stomach (ulcers), or more likely, your liver. That's a good way to kill yourself. And if your drinking at a normal pace, handling it well and then WHAM you're plastered and nauseous, you most likely have already damaged your liver badly. Have you been checked for liver problems?
Alcohol is a drug.... Puking is an early sign of alcohol poisoning. To avoid it, don't drink on an empty stomach, stay hydrated, and pace yourself.... when you start feeling dizzy/nauseous while you're drinking, take a break and the feeling will pass, and then you can go drink some more.
Make sure you have food in your stomach when you drink, but only before and mabe it will help keep it down, for the next morning, dont eat anything acidic!
hey I reviewed my info and it was eat a high-carb meal like pasta, not a greasy meal. Thought to clarify.
i say try eating more before you goto bed. then eat right when you get up. if that doesnt work, you might have some sort of wierd reaction to it.
