    Words that sound very strange, or beautiful, or similar to something else, or even contradictory, or just amusing?

    It's an English word, but I've always found the sound of

    melancholy

    to be beautiful.

    Melancholy is such a pretty word, It had always been one of my favorite words in Spanish (Melancolia)
    Another word in Spanish I really like is Acuarela (It means watercolor). I liked it so much that I used to say if I had a daughter I would name her that haha.. luckily I've grown out of it.

    I like too many words :)
    I really like how you say yellow in French but I forgot how to spell it, I think is Jaune, but Im not quite sure.

    Russian is a beautiful language for sure, it is spoken here also.
    Just afew Kilometers South of here is Port Arthur.
    But my favourite word is Pooon Tannng.
