Hello everyone, I have been searching the net from top to bottom and I just can't find any information on this. I am wondering if the oxy can be extracted from percs, using another method other then cold water extraction. I know that cold water extraction method is good, and efficient for oral use. But lets say I want to bang the oxy, and I have a good number of percs availible. Is there an acid/base extraction I could use? anyone have any experience with this? or maby acid/base extraction with a similar opiate compound.. like codeine or morphine? Like I said I have yet to find any information regarding this, and any help would be greatly appreciated... worst comes to worst I have no problem doing a CWE and drinking it but, If a acid/base extraction could work i'd like to give it a shot. lemmie know. thanks guys :)

Like I guess the idea might be to extract the oxy into the water and seperate it from the tylenol... then react it with lye, which would then precipitate freebase oxycodone... which I would then filter? then mix it back into a solution of hydro-chloric acid? hmmm... seems like a lot of work. I guess then I would evaporate the solution untill I have a powder. which I could then cook up and bang it?

well you can seperate the acetaminophen from the oxy, via a cold water extraction, google it :D, you dont have to do all those steps once you seperate the acetaminophen from the oxy you just pour it through a filter drink

well the problem is that cwe doesn't take away all the acetaminophen from the "extract". It simply only allows a small percent to stay in the liquid solution, whereas all the oxycodone stays in it. Perfect for oral ingestion as a little acetaminophen isn't a big deal, however if you want to bang it.. its my understanding acetaminophen is really not something you want to be putting in there. you could evaporate some, put back in fridge untill the acetaminophen precipitates out and then filter, and then evaporate some more liquid and keep going untill you have only 10-20ml's left... but there would be alot of waste.. not to mention there would be alot of heating that could be damageing/degrading the product. All of which could be avoided if I could do an acid/base extraction. Now acid/base extractions are fairly simple and I think for the most part they are same for every drug you use them on.. what I'm worried about is if the oxycodone will degrade to something else during this process or become unstable. any thoughts?

Acid/base might remove some of the fillers but probably not the acetaminophen. I'd pretend it was opium and use that algorithym....yes it is essentially an acid base extraction, but with specific pH values. Also you might try decomposing the paracetamol first by boiling under pressure. Always use the best quality reagents available and filter well (possibly whatman inline syringe filters) before dreaming about such endeavors.
