I've heard that watering flowers etc. with aquarium water is good for them. Is there any truth to that? And could this be applied to cannabis plants safely?
Never done it but as long as PH is good......... Which reminds me of what W.C. Feilds once said "I don't drink water because fish F**K in it!"
It's called guppy-ponics, the only reason I know about it was an article from high times I read online. Breeder Steve from spice of life seeds does it, I've been growing their blockhead, which is fucking bomb, by the way. http://www.hightimes.com/ht/grow/content.php?bid=119&aid=3
Bump (I know this is an old thread ) I'm just curious if anyone has any recent experience with this...
I used to use fish tank water, Had a few aquatic plants in tank, but over time Im using more tank water, Replacing tank water with tap water KILLS fishes... you could just oxygenate water with a pump , But it will not really do much for it. you could add cap full of hydrogen peroxide and get the some better results.. http://www.using-hydrogen-peroxide.com/peroxide-garden.html
This is why I use water conditioner. That's one of the things I'm curious about... if to do were to use fish water would you want it to be from a more natural/organic aquarium setup? Thank kind of stuff...
My tap water up north isnt very good.. its Well water and mines there make it unstable for drinking.. I had a conditioner on there for hard water, Lots of lime and calcium.. never hurt plants though..
