I thought I'd share a brief list with you. It's of course open to amendment ... these just happen to be my favorites at the moment. 1. Countdown with Keith Olbermann (MSNBC, 8 ET weeknights) SportsCenter anchor-turned TV newsman Keith Olbermann defends the Democracy nightly with a delightfully enlightening mix of news, politics, entertainment and humor. 2. Real Time with Bill Maher (HBO, 8 ET Fridays -- currently on hiatus but returning in August) Comedian Bill Maher chairs a panel that includes celebrities, members of congress, authors and intellectuals. Provocative discussion about hot-button issues in a souped-up version of Maher's old ABC late night show, Politically Incorrect. 3. Bill Moyers Journal (PBS, weekly, check local listings) Veteran journalist and former NOW host Bill Moyers continues the muckraking and confrontation of the powerful that made him a target of the Bush administration.
Last time I desided to watch TV (think it was like a year ago...) I got depressed,which is pretty much what happened every other time I thought of givin it another chance. I'm sure that somewhere in the world there's a show worth watching,but untill now I haven't found one,so it's just humanity at its worst for me. I m not quite sure why I own one really
