North Carolina / Hurricane Frances

I'm in North Carolina for a day or two, anyone got any good ideas what to do here?

(I evactuated from Florida for the Hurricane..wish my house well!)

 

I'm from Florida and in NC right now too!!! But I came before the hurricane was near. I'm in Charlotte visiting family. As for what to do...I want to know too! We will probably take a trip to Asheville to see the mountains, but other than that I've been stuck at the house. kinda boring. But its beautiful here!

 

Where you at? Depends on where you are in NC... I'd say make the best of it while you're there. If you're in the piedmont area or near the mountains they have the biltmore house and the NC zoo... or you can go to the outer banks... pristine beaches....

I heard from my mother after she went to check on my house in Tampa. There are trees limbs down all over my neighborhood. There is a telephone pole down at one end of my road and power lines down at the other end. The whole neighborhood is without electricity and it probably won't be back on until tomorrow. Luckily, my house was not damaged.

 

I made it though with only about $3000 in losses :| some of my neighbors houes are complety blown down so it could have been much worse, thanks for the kind thguhts!
