the moon does effect things in funny ways my old mother used to say my father acted strange according to the moon I do think theres something in it
I heard on the news a week (or two) ago that one counties police force are increasing the number of bobbies during a full moon as they believe more crimes are commited that time of the month.
I think it's more than belief but is actualy statisticly proven, heard the same myself and extended the logic.
I'd like it to be true, as it sounds pretty cool, but I haven't noticed it personally. Obviously it's not cool that it brings out the aggressive and violent sides of some people. But cool to know that nature is still very much in charge despite what some humans may believe.
i tend to get my period during the full moon. i get cranky. then i make dave cranky, and my kids, too.
I used to be afraid of the moon as a small child, but now it has some sort of magical attraction on me. The way I feel it, the moon definitely has more influence than we know up to now, but I'm not sure what sort of influence exactly. I think it may actually be a guardian of some sort.
well, at the different phases of the moon, our sleep patters can be disrupted. and as anyone knows, fucking with a busy person's sleep patterns is going to have an effect.
I used to work as a carer, I know its hard to believe, but it was with people with severe learning problems. One things for sure when there was a full moon everybody played up something crazy. It was to the point you could tell from the way the group were acting that after checking there was indeed a full moon.
Due to the moon's cycle being 29½ days, there are occasionally - as in July 2004 - two full moons in one month (only happens on average every 2.7 years). Then the second moon of the month is called a 'blue moon'. The next blue moon will be in June 2007. There will be two blue moons in 2018. (www.new-age.co.uk)
isnt it just loopy! what a head spin....its all good tho im sure...glad im not alone in thinking this!
My Dad was a dentist and it never failed that during full moons, he would get emergency "I'm in pain and I need help NOW" calls. He'd get one of those calls in the middle of the night (a different day and age, I know) and we would look at each other and go "Oh, it's a full moon, huh?"
Wow, strange.. I notice a sort of general inclination towards loopiness around the full moon, i.e. around this time. but then again maybe it's because i've gone for 3 days with nos sleep. see, it's affecting my spleling!
