i just can't stay awake. for the last couple days I feel just as tired as I did in the first trimester. For the last while before this, I had a ton of energy and was go go go all the time, and I felt like it was giving me even more energy. And now in the last few days, I'm just pooped. Maybe it's because this semester of school is done now and I have a few days off before summer school, and my body is winding down. But I this is driving me insane. I went from literally doing anything all the time with an indespensible amount of energy to.......slop......
any ideas? and suggustions on how I can wake myself up again???
    thanks

Your body is trying to tell you something. Slow down! Listen to it! You said you had been going nonstop, there's your answer. Your body is craving some down time!

Yeah... that happened to me as well... how far along are you now? I was very active for a few weeks and all of a sudden I couldn't do anything at all... I had to change my plans because even after that exhausting week of doing absolutely nothing I was still not able to get back to where I was... I did notice that I grew a lot during that time.

I just started drinkiing more water, eating more simply(less junk and things that were difficult for my body to digest) and actually slowing down, which meant that I needed to change my priorities too, and allow that to happen, to follow my body's cues... now I am at another phase, where I'm pretty functional, but I still make sure I'm not overdoing it and try to take it easy if I'm ever in any doubt that I might not be able to handle something, like tiring easily... I play it by ear. Pacing myself has to be a conscious thing because in my head I just want to go, go, go and do, do, do but I'm adapting and starting to kinda like being a bit more laid-back... and there's my long drawn out answer... sorry.

I'm 23 weeks now. This really hit me when I got to about 21 weeks or so.
It never occured to me that I was exhausting myself out, funny enough. I have been relaxing a little more now, and I'm feeling better. We've had a small break from school, and I'm back again tomorrow, so I used to the time to relax the best I could. I still don't feel like I had the energy I had before, but I've also noticed that in the last few weeks alone, it's been getting harder and harder for me to get around, and that probably has a lot to do with it.
    Thanks for the replies :)

Have you had your Iron checked to see if you are anemic or not? That can definitely affect your energy level. Of course, your body is prolly just trying to tell you to take it easy. Growing a baby takes a lot out of you, and you just have to adjust to your limitations, which change pretty regularly!!

Yeah, I didn't realize I was exhausting myself either, until it took me an entire week to recover, really more than that, and that is when I started showing a lot and walking funny at times and having a lot of physical changes... I don't think I'm gonna get all that energy I used to have back for a really long time.
