My FOAF has done morning glory seed extractions by cleaning the seeds with butane instead of naphan or expensive lab grade ether. It is really simple just use a butane extractor like the turkey baster that FOAF has already explained. http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=245064

Put the seeds loosely in the extractor and blast them good a couple of times. Let them sit out for a couple of hours to let all the butane evaporate. This should get rid of the bad stuff. Then just soak in 190 proof or higher alcohol for a couple of days and add tartaric acid to help stabilize the LSA this can be found in most brew shops. I have also read of using peppermint oil to stabilize too. FOAF has tried to soak for only 2 hours and did not get every thing out. Then evaporate the alcohol down to the level that you want to take if you take too much alcohol it will make you more tired and LSA is good at that by its self. The just take your dose it should work pretty well. It helps to do as much in the dark and to not let sit out in the light for long at all heat and light kills the lsa fast. Alcohol evaporation can be hard if you have alot because you can heat it up and even putting a fan right on it has destroyed some of the lsa. You can use a black light to see how concentrated your lsa is. It will turn bright blue but dont shine it on your lsa for to long or it will destroy it too.

Yes you can just sook them in water but u still end up with some of the bad stuff in it and you do not get all the lsa out with water that is why using alcohol is better. I also noticed some people where trying to figure out what kind of organic solivent to use to clean the seeds so i thought i would pass on a little trick FOAF has found.
