Experts have said it is most likely a terrorist attack of some sorts

Also there's been the car bombings which were incredibly luckily apprehended before setting off and killing many people.

    Where's the love? :/

I think this is the goverment that is saying we have to be tuff on terrorism so have our id cards. Then I think its fake. If you have a lot of money its easy to buy a terrorist that does this as he thinks yes my family will be paid well and how he loves his family is by seeing a million in the bank. How they do this is obvious

Britain + USA and Iran pretend to be enemies. Iran against usa and britain. now usa and bvritain want to force through id cards and other laws and they pay iranian politician 5 million to sort out terrorists. Then iranian pays some british guys 1 million each to do it and they think they are working for allah but noi they work for gordon brown

    damn conspiratorists >_>

and yeah ancient, i agree. I could go on a long rant about why the world is so fucked up currently but i'll stay on topic :p

Apparently there's a high likely-hood of more attacks according to MI15.

Also COBRA are discussing deployment of troops to all airports

What shocks me is that 3 of 3 attempts have failed.
Luck is bound to run out, and they seem persistant.

Most of it's true apart from the crowd shouting let em burn and "allah-allah", that hasn't been stated.

wow, that is fucked up. 3 times in 2 days. craziness. definitely think this has something to do with the change in power of the PM though. especially as Brown is from Scotland, maybe that is why they just didn't attack London again.

    people ARE sick.

BBC Radio 4 reported that the crowd attacked the men, kicking and punching them while they were on fire. Many people were shocked by the crowd behaviour and by the act of terror. That was reported by two or three witnesses on the news

If this is the extent of the threat we face I think we can regard ourselves to be exceptionally safe. This seems to be what the 'forces of islamic extremism' seem capable of in this country - a couple of bungled homemade attacks by determined individuals every couple of years. Maybe they'll kill 50 people if they get *very* lucky. They're certainly not an IRA. They clearly don't have the organisation or the capability. I'm more worried about being run over.

so what's the deal with the IRA lately?

well the ira get to keep control of the drugs market and the other contraband and blackmarket racketeering and in exchange the British will stop hassling the IRA if the IRA stops bombing Britain. Also they get their ex muderer henchmen into government in the Irish assembly if they agree that the protrestants and Ian paisleys lot can control other areas of irish drugs and contaband

You got it, what one might call a right result. When I was a youngster I didn't believe there would be an end to the terrorism until unity was achieved. The place has certainly moved a long ways from the depths of the seventies.

I do think the latest incidents though will get plenty of conspiracies going, they do appear so ripe for it. I'm a firm believer in the incompetence principle myself but one can see the story of Government set up being written as one watched the scenes unfold.
