Do you realize you have 35,000 posts on this message board? You could have probably gotten a few college educations in all the time you have spent on this forum...
Right, but I chose to spend the time here while downloading music, bittorenting, keeping in touch with family overseas, talking to people that often mean something to me, and whatever else I'm on here for at any given time. That and the most efficient way of posting/browsing, for me, is to stay logged on, do whatever you need to do around the house, and come back whenever.--That's really none of your business. Right now, you have no idea what I'm doing... so please don't tell me what I could be doing. I'm sure I could be doing a lot of things. I'm also sure I could not be doing just as many. Just in case you're wondering (you seem to be, I don't have a problem with it), I'm devoted to quite a few things, to that extent (I don't exactly like forcefeeding the homeless), but honestly, I wish they'd berid of the post counts, most of the time... that and, well, I've got time before I worry about a college education, when I'm educating myself constantly, anyway. I feel anyone who doesn't live every day to that state of mind, is a bit feeble-minded. I know many people with college educations that sit on their ass all day, watching Montel, and eating Cheez-its, because they majored in the wrong damn thing or due to a lack of job security... or they may not be the sharpest crayon in the box, nor are they one to climb the corporate foodchain-ladder. I also know people with college educations that are hitchhiking across the country, going to rainbow gatherings and such, making items to barter and sell, to prove points-- I know just as many without, doing, in a free, general, form... either of those sorts of things. Your point is? Jeez. To be honest, if anyone cared so much about what I'm doing, they could get just as much done for themselves, while I do what I need to do, the way I need to do it--or if one cared that much, they could blow me (but that wouldn't be a very nice thing to say, which is why I don't say it), hypothetically--nothing out of the ordinary. Your concern is a bit, unnerving, tonally, and counter-intuitive, from my eyes.
I like Death Cab For Cutie, but the rest of the bands suck hard. And they do, and this has nothing to do with 35,000 post counts.
Yep, Death Cab are cool... the rest of those bands are beyond terrible. I will never become a vegetarian knowing that bands like Fall Out Boy are (or pretend to be, because that's like the cool thing right now). You just lost me.
Yeah, that's really the only one I picked out of the bunch... I've liked Death Cab for a few years, the rest are "wtf" I think anyone who gives money to Peta, though, could probably have saved it and given it to something a little more reasonable, and less outlandish... like habitat for humanity, humane society, etc. Perhaps Santa. We could donate all our money to Santa Claus... and pimp out his sleigh. Shit, who else deserves the money, these days. At least Santa will put it to good use. He's pretty jolly, right? Everyone has to be so naughty, in this day and age. That and, I've never really needed to be terrorized to go back to being a vegan, but factory farming does suck ass rather hard, especially in that notion that families are competing against conglomerates and megacorporations--that's just sickening and wrong. I have little phases, most of the time.
At least all of us can agree of Death Cab. But I hate Fall Out Boy. All these emo bands are spawning emo vegans. Hardcore, straightedge, 13 year old whiney posers. How much more sickening can you get?
Rise against used to be awesome when all the 88 finger louie members were in it. Sage Francis has a few good songs... Makeshift Patriot comes to mind. The rest, including death cab, suck balls in my mind. But you can't judge music.
i lurve rise against. uh, yeah i loved 'the approaching curve' i listen to that cd and it takes me back to before i had a car. bleh. but that doesn't have anything to do with it.
they all suck, including death cab. andy dick? is he a musician now or is he just the exception on this dvd?
Nobody ordered it? You guys realize it's free right? I sold mine on e-bay for 15 bucks once I watched it. You all could do the same, I didn't see anybody else selling it.
I don't like selling stuff that I got for free... something about me just strikes me as ripping someone else off.
I started the bidding at .99 + shipping to cover my costs. They willingly paid 15 dollars for it, seems like ethical business to me. You could at least order the DVD and give it someone...just order it already, so I can know that at least one person did. It would make a good gift...I know you know at least a couple people who like the lame musicians featured in it.
I wouldn't order this DVD for ethical reasons. Ordering this trash will encourage them to produce more of it... I'd rather leave this earth knowing that one less copy of this DVD was handed out. You're a tad of a wanker for selling it in the first place for any price, but that's beyond the point.
