Having grown up coming from such poverty that would make some of the deepest darkest housing projects look like mini-mansions, I can tell you that there was not one single opportunity given to me/my family that was not extended to EVERYONE else, regardless of race. I can tell you, there are no college scholarships to be won simply for being white with "good enough" grades, There are no laws set up to ensure that there are enough WHITE PEOPLE working somewhere, and generally "hate crime" isn't even brought up when a roaming gang of black men assaults and beats a 17 yr old white girl because she's the wrong color.... Don't get me wrong. I am 100% for reparations going to the people (black, native, asian and others) that this country has wronged, and I do believe that the US government must atone for it's crimes against civil rights and such, but when you start to spew the same sort of bullshit vemonous racism that you would be bitching about coming from the mouth a WHITE man, you are no better than the most racist KKK, nazi skinhead out there. Do you believe that white folks are born with an overflowing checking account, while black people get fucked over yet again? Do you believe that at birth our white names get added to a list of vast job opportunities set aside specifically for us, while you have to claw your black way up from the gutter? I don't think so. You know, at some point, a certain degree of personal responsibility should set in. I grew up in a town with a 60% black population, and though this group doesn't represent blacks as a whole I can tell you that locally, these people just expect things to be handed to them simply because they are black. If they're children don't get good grades, it's because the teacher must be racist....not because their kid skips school 3 days a week and smokes weed all night without doing any homework. If they're broke, it's much easier to blame it on white society than to admit it's probably because of the $250 dollar nike's, designer clothes, and chrome rims they got. (for the record, I've never owned a pair of shoes that cost me over 40...and most were less than that.) . All of this, but yet it's the white people who "bitch and complain" about it, right? You need to get your shit straight. There is plenty of racism, sexism and every other -ism to overcome in this country without you making even more radical, racist ASSumtions to add to the lot.

Honestly...I really don't understand why every race gets to have scholarships specifically for them...but if there was one for white kids, then it would be racist. Why is it only racist if it's coming from someone caucasian? That's far from fair, why should anyone have more of an opportunity to go to school than someone else because of their race? Being white doesn't automatically make me rich or more capable than anyone else, so why should everyone else get a boost up, while I struggle just to find LOANS I qualify for? That's really my only bitch about race.
If there were a football scholarship, and you played football you would have a chance at that scholarship. Anyone in highschool or college has an opportunity for any number of scholarships. Most of these scholarships for Aboriginal people are sponsered by THEIR BAND. Being white does make you more capable than an Aboriginal person of the same age. White people have had preferential treatment for 140 years in Canada. So now we offer .5 of a chance when we have taken every opportunity from them? are we repeating ourselves here? It's racist to say that yes. ie. "white scholarships" *shakes head* (why do we have to hold on to these self righteous beliefs if we are supposed to be a civilized society?) Ok so....what nationality are you? Maybe you could hit up a "Insert European Group" Scholarship fund or something like that. They do not give scholarships on basis of race alone.
