So I just came across some 6 or 7 year old bud. My sister bought it back when she was in high school and i just found it. It looks liked it might have been good back in the day but it's really really dry and kind of gross now. Maybe it isn't that gross but the fact that it is 7 years old makes me not want to smoke it. What do you think of old pot?
It will still be good if it isn't moldy. Heck, I smoked 30 something year old weed once with a friend's grandpa and it was as good as fresh stuff. (He had bought a pound or two in the 70s and doesn't smoke too often, so he still had a lot left.)
I just thought of something; if weed is old and moldy, couldn't you just put it in a solvent that would absorb the THC but kill off the bacteria or whatever it is? or am I totally off the mark?
haha yeah it's not moldy at all it's only like a gram or maybe a little less so i'll guess i'll give it a try when i run out of the good stuff.
I've had 30 year old weed before two. Found it in my dad's old Coast Guard uniform. It was in a mason jar. About a quarter's worth.
I rember finding my dads stash when I was about 9. Then I forgot about It and re-found when I was 16, smoked it, my first time being stoned- Didnt feel nothing but my sister and her friend who I was smoking with were pretty baked. So.. 7 year old weed, thers only one way to find out.
Interesting idea. I've never heard/read anything on it. Unfortunately, I don't believe the mold would be left behind in the process. But I Love your line of thinking. More weed to smoke is always a better thing.
