or is otherwise musically talented. Is this bad? I play bass and I want someone to jam with. Plus, I come from a musically gifted family, and want my children to experience the same. The man that I'm with currently plays guitar, so no worries there...I just wanted everyones opinion. Is that too harsh? Everyone has "standards" for who they date, right?
Groupie Code of Living #1 - What chick wants, she gets. Groupie Code of Living #2 - The higher the hair, the closer to god. Groupie Code of Living #3 - Love is only cars and guitars. The groupies are behind you 100% Not that I'm calling you one.
Here is what the groupie club has to say: When a guy plays a guitar, he is sexy. When a guy plays bass guitar, the bass guitar is sexy. Just lettin you know what the chicks would say.
You are who you are. Just don't flip if someday you find the 'perfect guy' but he won't date you because you don't play the flute, or play computer games, or play russian roulette. What goes around comes around, i thought opposites attracted?
I find the smae kind of thing. I really only want to date a girl who loves music. If they PLAY music, it's an absolute plus. Oh, I play guitar btw, in case anyone didn't notice, haha.
After years of dating musicians, which is nearly impossible not to do in Nashville, I've decided that they are, generally, the worst people to date.... but the most fun at the same time. As long as you stay away from drummers, you should be okay. Singers, too. They're usually all talk.... bass players are usually kind of shy and mysterious. Guitars players are hard, because they can go both ways...haha... You either get a deep, brooding smart guy, or some retarded psyco with ADD. It's hard to know. Date a banker. Maybe he'll skim a little off the top for you. He'll also have better benefits.
I know a drummer, he's quite cool. Though I probably should stay away from him... so I guess you are right.
I don't see anything wrong with it. I don't quite understand why you're writing about it if you already have your man and he fits your criteria. I won't date a girl unless she has a cute face and cute feet. Blue skies, -Jeffrey
My ex boyfriends and most my guy friends all play an instrument of some kind...most guitar or anything that resembles a guitar(bass, acoustic, banjo, sitar etc...) and it is a HUGE plus they can write music. It's ironic that all my guy friends but 2 play guitars or drums, or anything. It's really awesome when you can listen in on band practice or have a ONE on ONE guitar session and they play you music they are learning or covering. If my man can't play guitar, I at least expect him to know how to write something from the heart. ya know
word of warning ALL DRUMMERS ARE BAD NEWS. that is all heheheh Nah Musos are alright, but theyre often self absorbed, tempremental and be prepared to be a doormat if hes in a band, cos your gonna get lumped with any job that they can think of.
:$ you cant beat a drummer hes got rythm its these lead guatarists that take you of track theve got no direction stick with the singer songwriter hes complete on his own the rest of the bands just pieces and bands always break up ever seen a singer song writer walk out on him self so he'll stick by u QUOTE=lover/young_peace]I know a drummer, he's quite cool. Though I probably should stay away from him... so I guess you are right.[/QUOTE]
i've too dated musicians, 2 bass players, keyboard player and others....one piece of advice: they're fun to be with but dont fall in love with them. they get too much attention and they love that, they will make use of that attention...so better dont get involved with them.
