After having a fight with my sewing machine for like 2 weeks, I finally got it fixed up adn finished this custom order Here is the top I made. the adinkra symbol on it is 'SANKOFA' which mean 'return and get it' symbol of importance of learning from the past. Made from cotton scrim and hand made batik cotton from Uganda. The Skirt I made is from the same fabric. I made 6 loops at the back so you can tighten it up for a 'corset style'.
Also a funky dread wrap/head band made of cotton scrim to match the outfit Dichroic Glass necklace, I didnt have very good light to photograph this one, but the glass is a shimmery pinky/red with a little blue. There are also purple and blue glass and plastic beads. It fastens with a pink button too. A funky dreadlock coil. This is actually silver colored copper wire, not sterling silver wire it has a small black bead and a black and glittery pink bead.
Lastly we have a pair of barefoot sandals made from seinna coloured hemp twine with pink buttons and sweet lil flower beads. _________________
