What topics would you all like to talk about? Could we come up with a short list. My nominees: why are you a christian? faith and knowledge, evolution and/or intelligent design, the historical Jesus, did Jesus or Paul found Christianity? did the Pharisees hijack Christianity? attitudes toward scripture. But I'm easy on this. If these topics don't suit you, please suggest others. If we're still speaking after that, we could go on to new lists.
Thanks. I was hoping somebody else would jump in, since I'm not one of the great minds of the western world. Just to start the ball rolling, let me take a stab at the first topic. Why am I a Christian? Because I think that some core beliefs or principles that I associate with Jesus are cool and the ones I want to live my life by. I've started a new thread to elaborate on this, in case anybody wants to continue developing the discussion agenda here. From now on, I'll start the topics on my agenda as new posts.
