The kind of people I don't like, are those that judge people so quickly, with little or no information about them.
like humorless hippies who hate people with arabic names? What about Fred, I mean, i know you hate Fred Flintstone, but the guy from Law & Order could be ok right?
Not a contradiction. The fact that she judged me so quickly, with no time to read my previous posts, told me quite enough in a short period of time. My original post is SO not a joke. Just to clarify, If anyone enters the race, and their middle name happens to be Hitler or McVeigh, I won't vote for them either. I just think we (Americans) would look like idiots, (more so than we already do), if we elected someone who's name contained the last name, of the last guy we most recently went to war with. Dwight Hitler Eisenhower would NEVER have been elected. So, for everyone ready to jump on the Race/Ethnic band wagon;
This is the type of surface level, knee jerk reaction behavior that hippies have always been known for.
Maybe you guys would actually look like grown ups and a tolerant society. Who gives a rats ass if his name contains ''Hussein'' -
As opposed to electing people on the basis of their middle name, which will increase our international prestige?
There are plenty of better reasons not to vote for Obama than because his middle name is Hussein. That's just pathetic. A name has no bearing on who someone is. If Ron Paul was named Hitler bin Laden, I'd still vote for him. They're just names that have become associated with a certain person. A hundred years ago, Hitler was not a notable name. Just because there was one guy that no one likes that had the name, doesn't mean we should stop using it. * I am not claiming that official stories on Hitler or Bin Laden are true. I'm just using names of people that have been considered evil.
I would think marketting was already aware of this dynamic. The fact that he's being ported as a viable canidate is just a political ploy.
