Hi all, don't know whether you guys have seen this before but thought I'd post it anyway. Upluggit is an environmental campaign, run by Rob Bell a climate change ambassador, to encourage people to disconnect their phone chargers when they're not in use.

'Unpluggit is the world’s first campaign dedicated to helping prevent climate change one plug at a time. If Rob gets to his target of 10,000 signatures, he’ll be on his way to the Arctic to experience at first hand what global warming is doing to our planet.'

Let's send Rob to the Arctic! go to http://www.unpluggit.co.uk

p.s as you can tell i'm new, if this is in the wrong forum please let me know. Cheers!

    Haha thats great ^^

No but seriously, I don't get the point of him going all the way out to see it himself? I mean what's exactly the point? It's not like by flying out there he can stop it. Just like purple-moss said, all he's doing is polluting the air just a little more. Hmm...

Well there are things you can do to help reduce the amount of harm you are causing the enviroment, you can do this by offsetting your carbon on websites such as; www.co2debt.com . On these sites you are able to prevent climate change by funding ethical reforestation projects. I personally found that www.co2debt.com was the best site for this because of their strong relationships with other non-profit organizations
