Hi, I have been trolling the forums here for a while. I was thinking of trying LSD for the first time soon, so I have been talking to a lot of people about their experiences. From the people I have talked to who don't like it, they all said that they had back pain associated with it. One also said that he could feel it in his veins and that he has been told that LSD is laced with strichnine (sounds like BS to me, I dont think you could feel a couple micrograms of strichnine coursing through your veins even if it was there). I just wanted to get a wider variety of opinions to see if there is any validity to these statements.
back pain is caused by tension. the person was unable to relax and enjoy the experience - they probably didnt take enough. instead of embracing the high they fight it and tense up. lsd can make you more sensitive so if you already have pain somewhere it can be heightened or you may focus on it more then when you are sober making you think that you are in more pain when you are not - your just feeling it more. the most common reason for back pain is the first reason i gave. as for the stichnine - follow this link http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/lsd/lsd_myth2.shtml Because a blotter tab is so small, only extremely potent chemicals such as LSD can fit at active levels,,, strichnine is not potent enough a chemical. just remember - if you see or feel anything that makes you feel unconfortable - let go and relax... it is all in your head - it is all your creation. breath, relax, let go, drift, enjoy, ... be happy.
lsd being laced with strichnine was a rumor started by two fucking kids who thought they bought lsd but infact it was straight strichnine cause the dealer was real dirty you know. fucking people trying to fuck people over for money and this is what we get, people thinking that lsd is laced all the time...what a crying shame.
i have three semi-broken vertebras, if i take acid. will it make me hurt as bad as it did when they were broke?
probably not. it is hard to say without trying. and it depends a lot on the person i think. if you do feel a little pain you can always take some pain killers for the trip. most likely you will just become more aware of the problem. try not to focus on it and you should be ok. if you find yourself consumed by discomfort try doing something to get your mind off of it.
