What manufaturer of any type of machine would leave the consumer without a manual?

If there is a God, there would be a manual for every country and every religion, as to why we are here, and as to what is the best way to do everything.

If there was no God, people would design a manual themselves based on experiences..yet God's manual would be superior, since there would be things in it that humans could not possibly know.

The thought of Gods existing is exiting, it gives life a greater meaning, it makes life feel like its forever... not short as people say. Life is not short, it's eternal, and by golly...the posiblities are endless within eternity.

Not really a paradox. Maybe I used happiness twice and that is the reason why it looks like it is a paradox. I simply meant that joy and sadness in one's life are really coming and going. They have a beginning and an end, but real happiness inside is something permanent and it is only found in God realization.
You don't deny the existence of universe. When that universe itself is God, how can you deny the existence of God?

Senses are impermanent because they do perish with the body. You claim to have listened to the universe, you should have seen that all of our lives end in death.

All you say is theory, look at the reality of things.
He is well happy to folow the rules as long as what is said follow what he already agrees with, but the minute he cant use his own references on it, and cant argue against it, he just freak out and attack, using tools as insults and degradating language and indulge in assumptions as well as in indirect accusations and insinuations.
What you call vaada, is nothing else than a proper constructed argumentation following the rules of logic and argumentations. No need to use some indian concept to say so. Unless you are indian.

Well, I read this thread recently ,and placed my post in response, so there wont be any negative stuff again. And my post is to ensure no more pollution arises again.

And as for shining, I find that the fact that I don't care a crap for shining,seems to enable me to shine , in some sort of an ironical manner.

On the subject of 'shining', I always like Tolkien's line:

'not all is gold that glitters' -

Seems there is a kind of 'glamour' attached to a lot of this religious stuff beyond which people are unable to see or penetrate. Like those who get taken in by 'charismatic' teachers etc.

 

Love, peace, harmony, agreement, serious debate, support and understanding...these grow like flowers as you put them to practice, while hate, war, discord, nonsense, attacks at others; these not only grow like fire as well, but they try destroy to everything in its path.

Good question.

Myself, I don't find it difficult to get along with people, even if they express or hold extreme or un-realistic views. The way I see it we are ALL on a learning curve - the problem comes when someone decides they are 'enlightened', and you try contradicting them. Even if the 'enlightenment' concerned is actually only the result of what they've read somewhere, or heard from some self proclaimed 'guru'.

Many of the religious systems which exist are like closed bubble realities. They seem to give a complete account of existence - in actuality, none of them do, and many have led to many abuses and problems in the world.

In effect, people take themselves too heavily and seriously, and they take their 'philosophy' as being something other than what it actually is.

 

And the irony of it all is that the one who is enlightened is offense-proof, as it were, while those who try so hard to prove themselves enlightened, what they really achieve is making a fool of themselves.
