A perfect plan has to have free will written all over it. We decide; so no one should try to convince or force another to subscribe to their beliefs-- but we can show or confess how we have come to believe what we believe..it's called sharing.

 

But BBB, Gita is literal. It is God speaking to us, there is no metaphor in it. In Bhagavatham too, meaning is quite literal. For instance, Hiranyaksha means "He who continously wants everything to be his" and Hiranyakasaphu means "He who wants to enjoy riches without any limit or morality".

the stories teach very important principles that form the basis of Hinduism or atleast just form the basis for living a good life. If we see them as just mythology , don't you think they will be losing the importance they rightfully deserve in Hinduism?
