jedi, we are human beings, not concepts. Not being affected by adversity and feelings is a mental desease and a serious traumatism.
Only through love and adversity we grow closer to love.
We all seek being ina state of constant happyness, and being symbiotic, being one in osmose with all, and this we are all doomed to be at the end. But in the mean time, allw e can gather is being one with another person, and through this feeling one with the rest of the universe, by being reconnected to it.
Real adversity cannot be ignored, wont let itself be ignored, and will come back at you ten folded if you just try to ignore it instead of dealing with it.
For each adversity you defeat outside, it is one or 10 more you have conquer inside yourself, and it propule you to a new step in your selfdiscovery and the discovery of the world around you.
Pain, like adversity, will not be ignored.
Unless you have died inside completely. It can be sidestepped and doen so for a good reason at time, but most of the time it has to be taken up and dealed with.

Refusing it is going against the flow, the transformation flow, and you just cant do so.
Seeing the larger picture does not change a iota in the concept of being abused, it add some more of an even higher carat, and make the abuse worser and bigger.

From broken heart or trust or friendship, to broken soul or ripped off soul, and burned soul.

All what you feel exist and has to be alowed to be feeled and healed and enjoyed.
Ignoring it in the name of an abstract concept, is to blind yourself for someone you do not know and only assume exist.
Denying what you can actually feel, and know exist.
Emotions are more real and closer to the source than intelectual concept.
Intelectual concept lead you towards it, but at some point will hinder you to access it, and there only the emotional world will carry you to the center you wish to access.

I don't get it, why are we doomed? its a great thing to see God and be connected to all in this creation. Doomed is such a negative word choice.

You have to ask yourself what a person is. Is it another body? then if that body dies will that person still exist? You also have to ask yourself what you are. Are you the body that speaks, thinks, acts in this world? or are you a witness to this body?

Ok, agreed 100%. I was not saying you have to ignore it, what I am trying to say is it is possible for us to be not affected by it. Keeping a peaceful mind will improve one's quality of life.

How are we connected by our senses? what do you mean when you say , you and I are connected to this world? you see, senses are impermanent, do you believe you will cease to exist after your body dies?

 

There is no separations between body and spirit we are made of the same stuff together and we live of the same source together.
We live and are connected to the source of the universe the sound of the universe or what you call Brama, by each of the cell of our body.
Each cell of our body is a receptor and transmittor. It receive and send light. messages soubds vibration.
the form of our body is made of thousands of different geometrical shapes each with each specific mathematical signature coresponding to as ound, each sound has an echo-contact to the original sound, when all of those sound in your body equalised, when you are in harmony with yourself, those sounds mute into one, and you are creating the perfect wave to be connected to the original sound.
When you are in that state you are in osmose with the ultimate being.
All beigns are able to reach that state at anytime they chose to and to be one with the universe and feel one with each others.
No special teaching is necessary.

We are doomed, mean we will all get there without doing anything for it.
No matter how much one work hard to get there or not, it isnt necessary, we will all ultimately reach there at the very same time.
Doomed, is a conscious choice of word, in opposition to all what we are told usualy of all the sacrifices and efforts one has to achieve in order to reach there.
There is nothing to be done, it is already in the card since the very beginning. Also when.

The sound is the way to it. to be one. with the first sound of creation before the big bang occured.
Boddisatva are karma collector. Humans who reach there are boddisatva. bodisatva is not a state you reach on full will, you have to access the consciousness on full will, but collecting the karma happen on its own. You do not chose it, you are chose by it.
It is about the the balance, you can make the balance, then you will.
Sense are not impermanent nor inferior to the spiritual it is a myth.
Senses are the most connected to the source.
Before there was chaoes, in the chaoes there was senses, the illogical world, from it come the logical, but behind the logical, who cant explain most of the universe there is the real world, the illogical one the one our senses can feel and understand completely.
Love is illogical and a world our senses are in total harmony with.
Shut the logical mind and you open for the spiritual world. You are by each cell of your body.
A stone is also connected to the sound of the universe, it emit a wave, a vibration, everything in the universe does, every atoms.
Quantum mechanic is illogical it obeys to the original rules it was there before it is there everywhere, our sense obey to the rules of quantum mechanics, of the magic and of the miraculous.
We can therefor create everything if we connect entirely with our sense and with the source of the universe: the original sound.
Shut down all other waves, all the white noise and concentrate on that one inside you, connect yourself, and feel the total happyness and love submerging you.
No special state of meditation is required.
To shut down the noise is not to shutt down yourself but to open up yourself. therefor chant and dance.
Do not follow any previous lead, do not use mantra, do not cling onto known interpretations of what you experience, be open, as open as you can, and you will reach there.
Do not listen to any teaching, you odnt need them. You are enough on your own.
You were made by it, you know it and it knows you, and its sound tranperce each of your atom everyday all the time, it is there constantly, all you have to do is listen.
Connect to it, be aware of it, and be transcended.

Simply - one's Kindred Soul - not your own soul but one who accepts you as you accept them - not in the same sound as this is impossible yet in similar rhythm and cause - each other's cheerleader, support and best friend even in discord.

My Dad is in the pay it forward mode yet he forgets those close to him and gives to those he assumes are less fortunate (are they really") - to a degree yes we are our own master as we alone should control our emotions, control our own being, respect those around us to include the strangers in the room (as the world is a series of rooms) but to is it your task alone to pass this along to as many as possible? Sounds like a religion of which you are the master, the judge - this is not Kindred Soul, it is control as we all should believe and live our lives as we all grow with new ideas, thoughts and rules.

I am passing wisdom, infos, that others can use and need to have due to the huge amount of trash they got from new waves and ancient waves and all the oldy religious things we all carry around together with prejudices and preconceived ideas.
To clean it out is a big task in itself, can take a life time to do so.
Therefor the need to hear something telling them they dont need it.
I have no religions.
I pass something all are entitled to know, that they are their own masters as well, that they dont need other to tell them how to connect, that they dont have to wear an orange sari to do so, that they dont have to go to church to do so, nor meditate nor pray as the prayer is your thoughts.
My posts are never long, they are the passing length.
It will take you 40 years to reach the conclusions I give you in one sentence. So 10 of them cant be blamed for being of alength that tired you for 10 minutes.
You can read thenewspapers instead. It will take you one hour and tomorrow you will be doing the same.
My task alone? I am going to make a movie about it that will reach all the world that way it will be passed to everybody at once.

The creation of the universe and point zero of the universe before the Big Bang, is a big story. Told in all details. I will describe the creation from beginning to end from causa prima to how it end and why and how and what happen after and how we are made and how everything else ismade and what moves us and what connect us and how, where we are going what we are doing and the meaning of it all.
And what religions do to us, what their purposes are and how we comprehend the world around us, from what , what we miss out and why, and how to reconnect.
It is very simple indeed. Extremely complex, and absolutly simpliest ever.
To the point that when you read it and grasp it you go "Aaaahh!" it just project you, it is there, clear, and explain it all.

I don't think that in my earlier post I said we should regard the world through rose tinted specs - I merely said that each case has to be judged on it's own merits.
How we judge will depend on our own experience, and many other factors.
Ancient scriptures are not always a very reliable guide, as many were written in times when inhumane and barbaric punishment for example, was the order of the day. They often fall short of a basic humansist standard in what they recommend.
Also, the issues we now face didn't arise in the past. We need to find new solutuons to new problems.

It's necessary to follow nature's laws. The problem is, that human beings are not simple creatures of instinct, and it isn't always easy to determine what is actually 'against the laws of nature'.
A prime example in our times is the whole issue of homosexuality - some traditional moralists would say it is 'un-natural' - other would say it is natural.
There are many other instances too - how in tune with nature is modern technology?

 

I am a realist. I study reality and read anything that shows me more on how to see he real. It could be a book of physics or Don Juan Castandeda
or Gullivers travels. I am obsessed with reality, and becoming a knower of that.

The yoga Vasistha says that if a child speaks the truth, and Brahma himself speaks a lie, one must discern who is lying, and who is telling the truth, and that is my guideline..Never look at who's speaking, but at what they are saying...does it harmonise with your studies of reality? then believe it...Truth does not contradict itself...truth is everywhere and because of that, we are alwyas surrounded by truth; yet we must be in tune with it to recognise what is truth and what is opposite of that.

One must have perfect discerment as a foundation; but how to obtain that is a mystery to me..

I have noticed that some people will believe the most stupid and contradictory things, and reject the logical and reasonable, but how they lack the right discerment is beyond me...that is one of the mysteries unsolved, why some people will believe a lie, and not see the truth that is staring at them constantly.

Lorna, I believe in you like I would believe in any prophet, because you are for real, and beyond, that you don't escape or try to deny your humanity like some of us learned sages have tried to do, in search for some transcendental plateau of unreachable proportions. The real measurement we need to be in touch with is, that if it comes from the heart it should be believed, and many of us have missed that somehow.

God is your master. God is non different from the universe or creation, when one is free of the illusory effects of LSD induced states, one will see Him clearly.

Senses are impermanent because they perish with the body.

There is no "being enlightened" really, you claim to have received this knowledge from the universe, I wonder why you ignored this little tidbit. hmm? If you were enlightened, then you are enlightened now... yes? If you were enlightened , you wouldn't have to say that you were .


Happiness and distress are illusions. The real happiness is within us, I agree. And that is attained when we calm the mind and focus it on God who is within us all. Love is nothing more than our reaction to detachment to impermanent things and attachment to God.

 

The funny thing is, what Yoga Vasistha says and what other hindu scriptures say is essentially the same thing. We are all very young spiritually, when we get a little more mature spiritually, we will see how everything is saying the same thing.

 

Like those who believe in the literal truth of scriptures like the Gita or Bhagavatam, when they should be seen as mythology.

 

That you and I exist, that we are different, that you may have have abilities that I don't possess and viceversa, that you may be of another race, have
thoughts or powers that I have not developed, that you may have lived many lives...where is the myth here?

The universe is a mysterious thing even for the greatest genuises, nothing has been discovered by humans who have not left this planet even once yet,,,so in this life you can truly truly say,,,"I know nothing" and that may be the only true accurate statement you can make, while arrogance and claiming bodly that you know what myth is, and what reality can and cannot be be, is what I call utter nonsense. The wise remains open and studies all angles seeking to know, not seeking to prove anything.

I have come to believe slowly in God, demigods, life in zillion of planets, and nothing can make me change my mind, because it took a long time for me to study the reality of that and come to the slow conclusion that we are not alone, we have never been alone, and that if anything in this universe is impossible, it would be, that as grand and as infinite that time actually is, that the cosmos would harbor life in only one speck of dust called earth, and the rest be void of life and beings. So as you can see, it is not some capricious belief but surrendering humbly to evidence and logic.

Scriptures were written for the wise and not for fools, fools will believe what they want, and always what suits their lifestyles best. Fools will allways listen to other fools and never to the less popular theories or reasonings or scriptures.

For some individuals the Gods are inventions of man because their minds have not developed, or the gods themselves have not bestowed grace upon them, or they need lessons to learn in the athesitic mode, or they have made some grave mistakes in past lives and need to take a break from the truth.

I am not concerned in convincing anyone of anything, but mainly to reinforce my true convictions or those who need to hear strong convictions for vindication. Your convictions can lead you to hell or heaven depending which ones you feed.

And yes,,,there are many many heavens as well as many hells...Joseph Campbell was at best a lost atheist.

 

There is a factual basis for every legend. I believe that these had really happened, or otherwise it would not have created such a mass movement in India which was perceptible ,even before Alexander came to India.

In time, as Vivekananda said,some supernatural tales were included in order to glorify the heroes and also in the form of metaphors , which is what is decreasing the credibility a bit, but I believe most of them have happened. And with respect to certain supernatural stuff, India is not a stranger to it even now, and I myself has seen incredible miracles in India, which are a manifestation of the powers of the mind.

 

They have to say the same thing....the truth cannot contradict itself; and this is the foundation of my discerment.

 

It would be untrue for either you or I to say 'I know nothing', as in fact we know many things. Thinking about it too much tends to obscure what we do know.

I think where myths are concerned we have to look at some of them very closely before we believe they are literally true, and often, because they are not literally true, by taking the literal sense you just miss the true and more subtle meaning.

How long? 20 years? 30? And now you 'know' what is 'reality', what's next?

Often they were written for the ignorant masses of humankind.

But I didn't say that because I regard certain scriptures as myths, I don't believe in the spiritual. I just believe in it in a way different from the way the orthodox do.

For me, what is important is not learning by rote and then deciding to believe this or that account of things as written in scripture a, b or c. It is purely a matter of personal experience, which transcends language, and thus can't be adequately expressed in words.
Scriptures, teachers etc can at best be only a 'rough guide'.
