    ho Yank, burn the wheels,

Sometimes, but not often, I let slip on just how blessed i am to be living in the middle of the woods. Bears visit ...fairly consistent - makes for a clean camp I tell you - raccoons, deer, turkeys, possum, snakes, big cats (seldom, ...... but seen the tracks.... and 1 saw them - I have not yet so cannot claim it),
seen a wolf, lots of cayotes some living in the hollow (consists of about 1500 a. to natural borders and watershed more like 3,000 a.we only have title to 176 a.)...
And yes this in the belly of the beast, in N.Y.syate about 50 M. S of Rochester still considered in the finger lakes area. The hill tops are often covered with forests and the wilds can roam and not see many - even here . Though the bears are not much afraid of man - used to raiding the trash - still they are friendly enough to honor your space - though you may have to tell them to. (and sure do keep a gun and let the smell of gunpowder let them also know if necessary that force can be used)

hey enjoy the wilds while they are still with us...gosh remember just 30 years ago how much wilds there were - they are fast disapearing - aye becomes obvious - there are just too damn many humans and they live so wastefully dumping everywhere...
    ahh rant rant
enjoy and Bless it and send some energy to Gaia ...she will use it, even if to shake some fleas.

    Blessing Be along the Way

    Namaste

I've never seen a wild turkey.

But some turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing sounds yummy right now. :)

That all sounds so yummy. I love deer meat. Used to think it was weird but I've had it cooked so well that I now like it.

    What are sea biscuits though?

Regular dried biscuits (undoubtedly leftover from the Atlantic crossing)
