Hello. I have a cousin that does not do any illegal drugs, due to his career path in becomming a New York police officer..::Sigh::.. (it kills me..) I couldent even get him to smoke a lil weed or anything. I was wondering if shrooms show up on a drug test that a city would give you? I have heard that they do not for the simple fact that the shrooms give you food poisoning which gives you this psycodelic trip.. I do not know if its true or not which is why i want to ask a larger number of people.. If they do not, i will try my best to try and get him to take them, and will reply with results. any information is highly appriciated, thank you!
Well, from my understanding, it is NOT tested for in standard drug testing. However, it can be tested for, although those tests are very expensive and complicated. But even if a test is done, I only think it can detect shrooms in the body for 1-3 days. Although, I don't know if giving your cousin shrooms is the best idea anyway. Has he done drugs before? Don't spring something on him when he has no idea what could potentially come.
no no. We have discussed this before. He'll take them under the condition that it would not show up in a drug test. the test would probably be 1.5-2 years later. they also take hair sample.
No, they wouldn't. The active ingreediants in magic mushrooms are out of your system in a couple days, like said above. He should be fine... Damn police arresting hippies lol!

Lets just hope so.. lol. though my other cousin and I have plans for him to make sure he confiscates the evidence.
you will only get tested for it if you are suspected...more or less it's a rare test. to add on that it will only show up 24 hours unlike weed that can stay months.....trip the day after you are tested =p
