I just moved to Visalia, CA and am working here for the next year. I have 2 roommates and they are driving m CRAZY!! I cannot stand half of what they talk about and their ideas and beliefs ae completely different than mine. What should I do? I cannot afford to move out because I am a volunteer and that means no money. I just need some advice.

try and find some common ground.. find out what makes them tick.. who knows u may share more than u know.

when I was at uni.. I got stuck in a flat with the quietest gal there could ever be. she even blushed when I said good morning to her. but through another gal who shared the flat we started talking and I found out she was religious (double oops).. surprisingly enough we found that we did share a sense of humour (if nothing else and for all her religion she could take my cynical comments about it with grace and defend her beliefs) and we became fairly good friends (good enough to share meals together and I learnt how to respect someone for the faith they have). reach out and offer friendship.. u never know what u will find in return.. but if u think that u can't be friends with them then u won't be.
