Anyone know of a place I could order a hat to put my dreads under ? The classic tam or tam with a visor would be nice. I know knottyboy and dreadheadhq have them but would like some advice on the sizing and such. Thanks.
fuck knottyboy & dreadhq theres plenty of crafters here who make em custom i got 2 awhile back from knittinchick & love em look around the crafts forum or for sale/trade forum
yup theres at least a dozen who do people gotta stop thinking dreadheadhq & knottyboy when they think dreads thats why we get so many waxy headed newbies here, they think those sites are the authority on dreads they but only wanna sell u alotta useless & even harmful crap ya dont need this 1 was 1 i got from knittingchick on here the price was 1/4 what i would have expected it to be and shes so sweet she threw in a second 1 free caeleyn also makes great ones, as well as a dozen others knotdirty just posted a thread about 1 she made stop thinking knottyboy/dreadheadhq ... remember they advocate wax & selling products noone needs.. goto your freindly neighbourhood dready & get 1 from them
and if you can't afford a tam...or don't have anything to trade, MAKE ONE! crocheting's easy. Yarn's cheap (though wool yarn is a little harder to find..).
