This would be priority on family housing list, more benefit on successful application and of course, employers are more likely to take on migrants as migrants are not your typical British. They are foreign and most people know, foreigners have a strong work ethic.

 

I thought you might know the difference between asylum and immigration.

Do you ever watch QI where they have that 'Doh' thingy when somebody falls into a commonly held opinion that has no basis in fact ?.

If you apply for asylum you do not get priority on the housing list - you get shunted into a BB - more than likely one room for the whole family - for time an memorial [if you are lucky] this is myth 1.
You recieve 30% less ''benefits'' than the indigenous population entitled to ''benefits'' - that will be myth 2.

Even if you are an immigrant you have to wait something like 2 years before you can even THINK to apply for any government assistance. Might be different for an asylum seeker but well based on things I've seen, it doesn't seem to be THAT different.

 

I always thought myths have some truth to them.
