Renassaince bridal feedback...

I responded to a post a while back on the renaissance bridal (Dressbuilder.com) site. I ordered my wedding dress from there and it has been a nightmare. The first dress sent was not the dress I ordered, did not fit and was damaged with pencil marks. The replacement dress is damaged with ink or greasy stains, doesn't fit, has selveges for seams ect..... a train wreck of a dress. They shipped both in a garbage bag. I do NOT reccomend these people. I hope I get my money back. Shining rainbow in this is Andy. She is making my bridesmaids dresses and I reccomend her wholeheartedly: snakemountainthreads.com. She is busy with wedding season right now but check her out for next summers tour season. She is a craftsman. Beautiful. Peace and be well......

You poor thing! Weddings are supposed to be a happy union not some dressmaker wanna be trying to make a fast buck! Shame on them! Glad to hear you found a kind sister to make your special day dress. Good luck and congrates!

oh honey that sucks what they put you through!!!!! i can't believe some folks think they can get away with such crappy work! especially when it comes to a gal's wedding gown =0 !!! but i'm glad things are working out better. i love to look at Andy's dresses very pretty styles. i'm still workin out the plans for my own wedding dress line. i'm trying to upload the pics of my own dress as we speak.... look for the hemp wedding dress thread soon

Sarah Lee, sorry to hear you had such bad luck with your dress, that sucks... Sounds like they do a miserable job.... hey, if they don't pay you back then sue!

 

I ordered a dress for my prom dress. Needless to say that I never recieved it, never went to my prom (didnt have a dress). dressbuilder is a huge scam, I reported them to the better busniess bureal. Such a horrible company

 

Im so sorry you had a bad experience! What a pain in the butt to have to deal with that all! I would love to see pics when all is said and done and I wish you the very best!

 

wow that sucks. andy does a beautiful job, your bridesmaids dresses are sure to be gorgeous. the dress i got married in was made by her =)!
