There is a petition being sent to the General Secretary of the UN(Ban-Ki Moon, for those who don't know) to put pressure on the Chinese government to free the 11th Panchen Lama, the most major spiritual guide in Tibet, as important as the Dalai Lama himself(for if one does not recognise the toher, things get complicated reeaaal quick). You might think that this won't do anything, and that the only way is armed revolution, but it will literally take two or three minutes of your time, and I'm willing to bet it'll make you feel at least a little bit better. No, it's more like sign the petition and maybe the UN will finally put some pressure on China to at least release the Tibetan spiritual leader. No guarantees, no demands. Just a request.
