Tobacco doesn't stunt your growth with first hand smoke. How would it stunt your growth second hand?

    I've heard that before too.

I have no idea how they figure that second-hand smoke stunts growth, but regardless it cant be good for a child who is developing to be inhaling smoke all the time.

Either way, it sounds like a scare tactic to me.

Theres no solid proof that smoking tobaco stunts your growth, so the same would be true for second hand smoke, then again a few decades ago there was no solid proof that smoking tobaco caused lung cancer, we all know how that turned out. But regardless of that its obviously a very stupid and selfish thing to do to smoke around kids consistantly, stunted growth is one of the less serious possible consequences of smoking as I'm sure you know, various cancers, low sperm count, bronchitis, weakend imune system ect ect.
