i'm supposed to go to this kick ass concert tonight and tomorrow night but the chick i was supposed to go with is blowing me off. i'm actually really upset, but i expected that she would do this. so now i have no one to go with plus my mom said i can't go by myself (who wants to go to a concert by themselves anyways)
Ahah... I go by myself all the time and always end up chilling with some interesting people. Frankly, going with a lot of people can be a pain sometimes. I like to keep it around three... no more than five, but I've brought along as many as a baker's dozen.
some of the best times I've ever had at a show I went alone. My favorite thing ever to do at a festi is split off from your posse and jsut explore. I'm not sure what kind of show you're going to but if its any kind of jam show you'll be suprised how many people you meet just by simply walking around.... and like george said, taking a ot of people really can become a hassle. especially if onyl a few are expereienced concert goers....
She's going to see Oteil & The Peacemakers in Peoria, IL. It'll be badass. I love Oteil. If only I were still in Tennessee... I would have definately made it there.
thanks for the sweet words, guys. if only oteil was tomorrow and not tonight... i am going with someone but i'm really bummed ill miss him ahh well, i'm only 17... there are many more concerts ahead!
