looking for a shore community to live in...

I realize that this probably isn't the best place for this thread, but here goes...

i am looking for a town to live in from october 2007 until the spring. i would like it to be along the eastern shore coastline, anywhere between new jersey and georgia.

i am a professional portrait photographer and want to work on building my portfolio during this time period.

i would love the place to be pretty cheap to live in, not a tourist trap, so that i can do portraits fairly cheaply to build up the work and make enough $ to live on.

anyone have any ideas? thanks!
