white rabbit purple haze green acid orange sunshine window pane pink insanity and on and on.my friend called me on the phone early seventies then. he said bill i just (today he meant) just dropped 2 hits of window pane.he said i think i have lost my mind and i dont think i coming back.sometimes my friend the masks come off and you must face that fear, many have cried when they lost their mask but have come the better for it i think.your statement is above my understanding. i am glad to know you exist.
wow! i think my face just fell off can some one grab one? thats just great i look like a Mrel haggered and borat hee hee thats-a-nice peace
Great! .. i havent got VH1 though. I know another cool documentary btw, is seven ages of rock. its on bbc1. http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/sevenages//
When you lose your mind tripping, you're actually losing something that is not there to begin with. Let it go, don't have fear, best to prepared for this event in advance, and instead think of God as the universe. If you can let go, you will instead experience the consciousness that is that universe, as your self. You are then in heaven.Namaste, love, peace, and flowers.

i just watched on the history channel, "Hippies" the start of Lsd and the movement and then the crashing, good show. i proved to my dad that LSD was legal in the 50s-60s. tells what he knows
To AlawlessLulu69420, Dig it chick, but that show has alot of mis-connected fluff in it and doesn't reflect the deep psychedelic and love connection at all. The Monterey Show, on the other hand is very different, and has alot of good commentaries from some of the heavy hitters of the day, not just about music, but about hippie as well. Watch it and you will see. It comes on tonight at 4:30c on VH1. Thanks for the comeback baby. namaste, peace, love and flowers. P.S. The "The Drug Years" on VH1 has four 1 hour segments, the first two segments are what you want to watch, which you can also find times for, and is "way" better than the History Channel Show. The history Channel stuff is from out of touch historians for the most part. Trust me chick, I've seen them all. Love.
I have to agree I've seen the history channel's "hippies", the drug years, and Monterey 40..... I've seen the VH1 monteerey 40 show about 3 times now.. just so enthralling and amazing... possibly one of the best documentaries aired on the time. Love it man. much love :daisy:
I was able to catch the last forty minutes or so of the Monterey documentary... I don't know, I liked "Woodstock" better. But that could be because I saw all of that one. And "The Drug Years" was an awesome documentary, too. Managed to watch that with my entire close family last summer... it was odd. I wish they aired programs like these more often.
To all of you brothers and sisters, thanks for your replies. Always remember that anything I suggest to watch on tv will always reflect the original old school psychedelic values of the hippie era I came from. I don't watch VH1 or MTV at all. When I do watch tv it is usually the weather channel, while most of the time I'm really looking out of the large glass picture glass window to the right of the tv, chanting "om namah sivaya" japa mantra. I was just flicking through some channels and found this show. I have traditionally kept a large archive of some rare sixties stuff, and this video, as well as the first two hour segments of the "Drug Years", alot of good Haight Ashbury stuff in it, were two shows that are worth watching and keeping. So trust me, if your really wanting to key into the original hippie's ways and values, if I suggest checking it out, you'll find it stands up to the test. Dig. Namaste, peace, love, and flowers.p.s. There is also two movies about this festival, the original "Monterey Pop", and the longer and more complete DVD version, both available on VH1.
