anyone had it? also, does it really take away or significantly reduce hangovers? i'm thinking about getting a couple of bottles for July but i dont know if i want Skyy 90 or Grey Goose. i had the original Skyy vodka and loved it, but i also love Grey Goose.
Skyy 90 = 90 proof = 45% by vol. Thats just a bit more than regular vodka which is 80 proof/40% by vol. Skyy 90 is still vodka. You will get the exact same hangover.
i know its 90 proof. but its supposed to be the purest vodka on the market. skyy (reg) had a less harsh hangover than some other vodkas i've had, but skyy said skyy 90 is supposed to get rid of it completely cause it doesnt have any impurities.
Putting a ton of alcohol in your system will give you a hangover even if there are no impurities. Get over it. Even if you drink pure alcohol prepared for lab use with no impurities you will get a hangover. You can't just cheat nature by switching brands.
okay, but i'd still like to hear it from some one who's maybe tried it cause skyy really does reduce hangovers and i just wanna know if this is worth it. thanks for replying though cause no one else seems to read these forums lol
I don't think so. From personal experience, I'd say thats a load of crap. Where does Skyy claim that it is the "purest"? I must have missed that somehow. Probably comepletely obvious.
not just skyy says it, i dont even know if they actually did say that but i've seen a couple of sites where they compare vodkas say skyy is the purest vodka. thats just what they're known for i'm pretty sure. but i'm just gonna get a couple bottles of each cause i really like em both.
