    So during the first month or however long it was before your little suckers started knotting up on their own, what happened? Any little special things you did to take care of them?

    Did you wear hats all the time? To bed? How long before you washed em? Did you re-backcomb? Leave em? Spray em? All that jazz. :D

    What'd YOU do? :D

    i didn't really do much special... just tried to get that damn wax out :p

    yeah, get that dam wax out, and palm rolled them. Waited about 3 weeks before washing.

    When I had them before, I used to spray em every day, wore a wrap around them to bed, palm rolled constantly... waited like 3 weeks to wash, I think... I was obsessed. :rolleyes:

    Now I'm kinda "ehh." about the whole thing. :D And it's workin out fine. They look a little tadbit rattier, but I totally prefer it this way. :)

    nothing really. rolled em when i felt like it. washed them after a week.
    washed them with sea salt and tea tree (not together) once a week.

    iv had my dreads for 6 months and they havent started knotting rly...maybe 6-7 roots have an inch of knotted hair but thats it so theyre still babies i guess.....nothing i do seems to help so i just leave them now
