Last night... I dreamt about that i was walking along a motorway, the sun was blazing and there was no one else in sight. I came along to a bridge above the motorway and it had a poster on the wall saying Rule 514... and it had a quote on it , but i dont remember what the quote said. It also said RULE 515 will be ahead after 1 mile... So it means i had walked 514 miles . A car appeared on the path next to where i was standing and it had a young boy and a woman inside.

They asked me to get in and she says what are u doing out on this motorway on your own.. I told her to take me to my house , they drove down the motorway and each mile there was a poster . We came to this big tree which was infront of us and the road was flooded with water, and the car was being pulled to a waterfall so i jumped out of the car window, and they fell down the waterfall inside the car. I then went into this building and there was a man showing a group of old people around the place.. and he showed me this statue and it had my name engraved on it.. so i said thats my name , he told me that the statue was very famous .. then my dream ended.

Please can someone tell me what my dream means..

Also i have had many dreams about motorways the past few weeks and im not sure why?

    Thank you

that's interesting, a 'rule' for every milepost. i think the road comming to an end and ending in becoming a waterfall, well that's, if you take it as a road through time, the timeline as it were, of roads through time, and maybe cars and our dependence on them, well everything we're used to because of that comming to an end, falling over the end of the waterfall, well that's comming in some way or another just about certainly, and having to get in one, someone stopping and insisting you get in and ride with them, well that certainly seems like how dependent on them we're being forced to be now, and how blind people are about how imperminent this is.

i don't know why anyone would be dreaming this more in the past few weeks then otherwise; that part may have something to do with something in your personal life.

do you maybe have two sets of parrents, like from a devorce or something. the idea of someone comming allong to take you home who isn't who you're already living with sort of maybe suggests something like that. or maybe not neccessarily parents but organizations or groups of people your more and less familiar with if your on your own, like religeous or hobby organizations or some such.

i've had walking along besides a highway dreams of a couple of different kinds. one in which all i had on was a blanket wrapped arround me and someone stopped and took me to a kind of commune i hadn't known about and people i'd known who had been involved in that sort of thing turned out to be living there.

and another, completely different one, where i met someone who became almost emediately extremely affectionate toward me, where traffic seperators had a lot of green in them and it was near comming into some sort of a town.

most of my dreams involve entirely other modes of transportation where they do, but those are a couple that i've had that might somehow relate. but not like as you mentioned so recently or anything.

maybe there's like some sort of roadwork or repaving going on near you or some rout you routinely travell, could be too, or scheduled to start soon, or something like that.

i know the u.s. is getting ready to do another stupid thing militarily with iran. i don't mean personal knowledge, just what i hear on democracy now and so on.

i'm not sure that has anything to do with your dream(s), but it might.

I agree with themnax about the time thing-- Journeys often seem to be related to proverbial journeys in life (or the journey of life itself) and mileposts/markers with quotes (life's lessons?) would seem to be fitting. Freud used to say that all dreams about riding in a car were dreams about psychoanalysis. Now, I don't believe there are any hard and fast rules about dream symbols, but it makes sense that someone who is a passenger in a car is getting help on a journey... which certainly seems to be the case in your dream, since the woman expressed surprise at your walking 'all alone'.
The 'end of the road' seems to indicate that safe passage is blocked, but perhaps the helper didn't know that, since she was swept over. But floodwater dries, and bridges can be built, so the way will be clear in time. About the statue of yourself, I have no guesses...
    hope this helped!
